Growing up in the Napa Valley, Eric followed in his father's footsteps learning the art of farming grapes. From a young age, he had a passion for farming. After graduating from St. Helena High School in 2005, Eric studied viticulture and enology at California State University-Fresno, graduating in 2009 with a degree in Viticulture. He is also a licensed, and practicing, Pest Control Advisor in California, and regularly attends educational seminars to stay up to date on the latest products and application techniques.
After graduation, he eagerly returned to his hometown of St. Helena, to work a harvest at Trinchero Family Estates. Eric is passionate about the wine industry and is a proponent for delivering a high level of customer service to all of their customers. He helps oversee the day to day activities in the vineyard and winery. In addition to his role at Gallegos Vineyards & Wines, Eric is a seasonal viticulture technician for premium vineyard consultant Nathan Baty’s Vinifera Advisors. Eric and his wife Danielle live in Napa Valley with their two young sons, and are proud to continue the family legacy.
